2025-2026 TCSS Academic Calendar Approved

At the November 12 Board meeting, the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education approved the 2025-2026 TCSS Academic Calendar. This calendar was based on survey results from the calendar survey TCSS conducted last school year. TCSS families, faculty, and staff had the opportunity to complete the survey. As stated at the time, the format developed from the results of that survey would be applied to the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years. 

The approved calendar meets priorities identified by the majority of survey respondents. The calendar also fulfills the instructional time required by state law for students and contracted days for employees.
